Too cold outside!  I’m staying home.  So, this is what I did instead.  My first pineapple upside down cake.  Little lopsided, but it did taste good!

Oh yummy! I’ll never forget when I made a pineapple upside cake when I was in a cooking class (at age 8). There was something so magically about flipping a cake over. LOL!

As long as it tasted good, I’m sure no one noticed! 🙂

Pineapple Upside-down Cake is so great! Everyone loves it but no one remembers to make it!

Wow! It looks like you got a lot of snow. That cake looks yummy!

What a horrible day outside… SO glad I’m in Florida. But the cake looks yummy (where are the cherries?). That is my oldest son’s favorite cake and he always asks for it on his birthday – sent one to him when he was at Ft. Benning, by the time it got to him through all the channels and x-rays, it was moldy! Some of the guys in his unit ate around the mold anyway – Army guys, go figure!
I can never get it on the plate straight, either – it’s just too darn heavy and HOT!
I’m sure everybody LOVED it anyway!
