This is my Uncle Donny. Approx. 1942. I have been looking for him for a long time, and I’m not sure if he’s even alive. We lost contact with him when I was a little girl. If anyone knows Don Chamberlin please let me know or give him my e-mail address. Thank you. Sorry it’s the only pic I have.

This Week’s Theme Is Freedom

Happy Independence Day, dear friends!
Today the United States is celebrating its 237th birthday!

  • What does freedom mean to you?  Always having freedom I don’t know how not to feel, but it sure feels good!  Thanks to my dad and your dad & my brother & your brothers from the bottom of my heart!
  • How will you be celebrating this holiday? * Just chillin’ back & maybe go watch the neighborhoods fireworks.
  • What day does your country celebrate its freedom? Well, on the Fourth of July! Independence Day!  Ba Da Boom!!!

Question Time at my friend Judy’s the Twinless Twin:  (Click the above ? for a link to Judy’s).  Every weekend she has a blog post where she asks and answers questions.  It is a good way for readers to get to know more about her if they would like too, and also helps her to get feedback on a number of questions.  Also, if you run out of questions…  she’s decided you can ask any question you’d like on your Post… just share!
My question for Judy is:   Yesterday was our Fourth of July in which we celebrate our freedom.  Do you have a holiday similar to that or a holiday we don’t celebrate?

Have a great weekend everyone!

    Great Song!

  2.

We all got a kick out of you little jokes. Here I am coming to you from Topeka, Kansas. We are about to take off for the day and drive another 800 miles.

Thanks for sharing these jokes Marie. I was hearing them all for the first time. I enjoyed the Judy Garland song. I hope your Uncle Don is alive and in the near future you will be able to make contact with him. We actually have 2 holidays that are similar to your July 4th celebration – August 1 (Emancipation Day) and August 6 (Independence Day). I have been working on my next Question Time post and I will have a link to your Riddle Me This then. Take care and have a great weekend.
