I don’t have a garden, but we have a few mulch beds with bushes & the weeds are out of control!

  2.

We have a very small garden this year that the hubby crammed full of things. The watermelon and cantaloupe are dominating the whole thing.

I love watermelon & cantaloupe, and I tried to grow them once with no luck at all. Even tried to grow One pumpkin plant. No luck. 🙁 I have a bad back & I was supposed to have help from my son, but needless to say he bailed on me. 🙁 Let weeds grow in the grass we can try to control it there, but not our veggies! LEAVE MY VEGGIES ALONE grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

There is nothing better than veggies from a garden. Especially tomatoes. Every year I say I’m gong to plant some and then forget and it’s too late. We love fresh tomato salads with oregano, parsley, garlic, oil with slices of fresh mozzarella and some Italian bread mmmmmmmmmmmmm. Wish I could stop by and pick some of those beef steaks 🙂

i love me some fresh veggies & tomatoes & cucumber salad with oregano & & garlic a tad of onion, a dash of olive oil, and wine vinegar!!! bona pa teet!!

You hve done really well I will have some beef steak tomatoes please heheh!

    have a veglicious week

  5.

We have the same weed problem at our house.

  6.

weeds are everywhere in my yard. out.of.control! no use fighting them when I am surrounded by woods & farms. I use to plant a veggie garden, love fresh from your own, mmm. but allergies stopped me. I really don’t have a flat enough area to try one now, and my flower gardens are wild messes all the time 😉
looks like you just have grasses growing up. did you put newspaper or some kind of weed barrier down before you added the good soil? you can add newspaper between & around plants and mulch on top of that. use grass cutting or plain mulch, not colored or treated. you know where I am if you ever have a question xoxoxox. just pull what is in there now before it gets crazy!! love & hugs, Faythe @ GrammyMouseTails

I always have to wonder why it’s what you don’t want there that grows the best. Drives me nuts. http://poshonabudget.com/2013/07/ww-hooray-hes-a-cutie.html

Weeds just don’t know their place, I’ll tell ya…they’ve got no manners whatsoever when it comes to gardening. 🙂

  9.

The weeds are really hard to control Marie but I hope you get a lot of vegetables from your garden. Thanks for hosting and enjoy the rest of your Wednesday.

Boo!!!! on those weeds. Hang in there. At least you are trying to grow something. I’m so late for the music hop. Playing catch up. See you soon!

Those weeds can be pretty pesky, but your garden is looking good so far. I only have three tomato plants this year, and they are all doing great so far.

Thanks for the lovely comment!
