Music on World off

Welcome aboard our 156th week of “Monday’s Music Moves Me”!  I have to say I’m healing quite nicely, but I have to take it nice and slow and sleeping a lot.  Now, something new for our followers, and only for the people that actually read my post will know about these little surprises.  Now it won’t be new and spectacular every week, but it’ll be different.  Maybe it’ll be a riddle and whoever guess correctly will win a tiny prize straight from me or it could be guess what song that is, and woever that raises it is they might win if they read the instructions because maybe you won’t suppose to tell me in a comment maybe you were supposed to e-mail it to me, but you didn’t read it so you lose.  Many do not read the our Posts do they don’t know the exciting things that are coming & besides maybe it won’t be on my blog it might be on a different conductors blog, but it’s up to you to find out.  We’re not going to do the work for you!  It’s only for 4M players too.  So remember to skim cuz you’ll never know when it’s gonna be or the simple thing you’ll have to do for it. Plus it’ll only be for people who play that day or play Monday’s Music Moves Me.  For now on with the show!  Happy Labor Day

notesXmasDolly, Conductor on this Musical trip is back & ready to rock.  I got a good report from the doc last Friday & one more week for being grounded and then I get my wheels back (he added a week, bummer).  Co-conductors Callie of JAmerican Spice, Stacy of Stacy Uncorked, Cathy of Cathy Kennedy’s Blog & for the month of September there is no   Honorary co-conductor! 🙁  Anyone like to vounteer???

Sorry about Naila-Moon  with regardings to helping, but she has computer problems for now so I guess we’ll going to be short handed for a while, but I’m here with you and ready to rock and so is my Cathy and Callie I believe, but I haven’t heard from Callie, so we’ll see.  For now let’s get this show on the road.

This weeks theme is a “FREEBIE” and it is also LABOR DAY!  So, for our men in the armed forces I’ll like to play a few special songs.
So for my first one it’s just a parade from my hometown Chicago, and Labor Day / Chicago Italians at Work: US & Republic Steel and Garment Works Strike of 1912

Now that’s it a day off of not working, staying home and relaxing and listening to anything we want here’s one of my favorite songs.  “Open Arms” by Journey.
Now have you heard this one? Talk about workin’ and slavin’ for that buck!

And then there was the “Chain Gang”, but always working, working…
and naturally Labor Day for us … NINE TO FIVE… DOLLY PARDON!

RIDING ON DOWN TO YOUR PLACE BABY, IT’S NO TREBLE AT ALL!!!  Got some new signatures from my friend Faythe at Grammy Mouse Tails.  I want to do a big shout out to her, and thank her from the bottom of my heart!  Girlfriend you know me too well!  hahahaha  You duh best!  Stop by her and say hello!Singer.xmasdolly-MMM

Love your choices for today! Seeing Lily Tomlin in the 9 to 5 song just reminds me that today, Sunday, was her birthday. She was 74. Have a great Labor Day holiday.

Open Arms by Journey is so pretty, just love it! And, yes I’m quite familiar with all of your tunes about working. It’s been a long time since I’ve heard these songs. Great picks for Labor Day! Gee, I really goofed up with this week’s theme, huh? Oh well, I’ll be sure to come up with some different Disney tunes for next week. 🙂 Glad you’re back on the dance floor with us, but don’t push yourself. We totally understand that these things take time.
