    Always search for coupons.

You can save money on your laundry by making your own laundry soap with Borax, Washing Soda and Fels-Naptha and making your own Fabric softner by buying one small bottle ,then buy a package of small hand sponges for $1 at the dollar store. Pour the softener in a small bucket with a cover. Put the sponges in the bucket with the softener . When you put a load of laundry in the dryer ring out a sponge and throw it in the dryer with your clothes. When clothes are dry throw the sponge back in the bucket and put the cover back on until you need another sponge for another load.

It pays to keep a list of what you have bought and for who and therefore you will hopefully avoid impulse buys, buy a little at a time and avoid last minute purchases

  13.

Another tip to save money for this season is to try to buy items that you recpients really want and use coupons and sales discounts and free shipping if possible.

  14.

Make a list before you go shopping.

  15.

I always take all the grocery ads with me even if I’m planning on going to all the stores, that way I know what they prices are for all of the places I might go.

  33.

One holiday saving tip is to cut down your gift list. For instance, only buy for the kids, not adults. Make sure everyone knows that you are doing this so there are no surprises or hurt feelings.

  34.

    I use coupons whenever possible.

  35.

I shop online before I go to the stores.

  36.

I use promo codes whenever possible.

  37.

I save money by shopping at Aldi’s, using coupons and always checking for coupon codes. We also use the fire place as much as possible instead of heating with fuel oil.

  39.

I make/personalize gifts all year ’round, saves a ton and people love them!

  40.

I like to make a lot of my own gifts in order to save money.

  41.

My tip is to pare down your gift list, like only buying for kids.

  42.

I actually checked this out last year. From visiting the site now, I can see that it is pretty easy to join with a paystub and ID.

  43.

I learned that the late fee is $7.50 if you miss making your monthly payment.

  44.

I use coupons and try to teach my kids the importance of being flexible. We do not have to have one brand and no other … especially when the other is on sale with a coupon!

  45.

Don’t be caught off guard by the sudden arrival of someone you have no gift for. Stock a few boxes of unusal candy or exquisitely scented candle … if no surprise person shows up, the understanding is, Santa left that candy for … you!

I learned that it is a year-round line of credit that provides the ability to repeatedly borrow and repay up to $1000

  47.

Another money saving tip is to take advantage of coupons and price/ad matching. You will save money AND time.

i learned that you can load funds drawn from your line of credit to your H&R Block Emerald Prepaid MasterCard® for easy access.

  49.

Do as much shopping ahead as you can so you’re not running around frantically at the last minute buying “whatever”.

  50.

Buy gifts on sale all year long and save for the big Holiday sales so you get the best prices. Also, using coupons, rebates and cash back sites helps also.
