Ohh, those are all good ones! Now I’m headed over to tell Cathy, “Happy Birthday!” 🙂

  2.

These were great, your wondrous Highness, Elf Queen! I need to get out the Nat King Cold CD. The kids have not put that on the stereo yet. Just love that man’s voice.

Yes, he’s definitely one of the greats! Definitely smooth and I loved when he smiled while singing there was something warm about it. Oh, and “BOW BEFORE YOUR ELF QUEEN”! hehehe

  3.

I just watched White Christmas this weekend — one of my holiday faves! And I love the song with Dolly and Kenny. The Christmas Shoes was so sweet and sad…..it kinda fit my sentimental mood today.

  4.

Geeze, Danielle stepped it up a notch…”your wondrous Highness, Elf Queen”! LOL
White Christmas is a favorite for me. I own the movie of course! 🙂
COme by and sing with me. *chuckles*

White Christmas is one of my favorite holiday movies. In fact, we just watched it this past Saturday for my birthday. BTW, thank you for giving me a lovely little surprise with your announcement to this morning dancers. That surely made my day! All of your Christmas songs are classics and totally adored choices for me over the years. Have a mon-tastic day, my dear friend! 😉

  6.

Nice choices Marie just love the Nat King Cole one a classic, they recently showed an old Judy Garland Show on one of our Arts channels and she sang that love watching them, they show the old Ed Sullivan shows too which we have never seen here.

    Have a seasontastic week 😉

  7.

I still believe the classics are the best. I like the way Dolly and Kenny’s voices blend.
Christmas Shoes is too weepy for me to listen to often.

    Thank you for the spotlight!

  8.

Awh..you pulled out some wonderful Christmas classics. I loved Judy Garland(I really loved them all) I also thought about “Christmas Shoes” but I didn’t want to many tear-jerkers. I hope you Monday is off to a great start.

    Happy Monday!

  9.

I just love Kenny Rogers voice!
Great selections you have here Dolly.
I enjoy the older versions for the Christmas.

    Enjoy your week 🙂

  10.

We’re counting down – Christmas is almost here – can you FEEL it?
I love the songs you shared this week Marie! I opted for a more soothing selection this week as I’ve been under the weather. The music I shared is one of my favorites. I hope you and all of the other music lovers enjoy it!

Merry Christmas (and be sure to enter my latest Chicken Soup Giveaway, “It’s Christmas” – 3 books filled with wonderful Christmas stories to share worldwide!)

    Have a beautiful week!

  11.

I simply love Judy Garland. It’s too bad she passed away when she could have kept on singing.

With my blog I try and post things I’ve never heard of before. I want to open myself up to different. I love classics. I just want to learn about a new band every week. That’s the reason why the band I picked has such unusual sounds.

  12.

I LOVE these classics. Sorry I’m late. Ugh…working really hard over here. I have something pretty neat to share with you this week. Wait till you see. 🙂

Thanks for the lovely comment!
