Now this might be a tad different, but I always loved the movie “Staying Alive”, with John Travolta and then ending was the best part…

A friend shared this song on facebook today that I’ve never heard before, but I know it’s so very sad you’ve got to hear this song. It’s about John Lennon. “The Dead don’t speak. They listen.” by youdon’tknowII. I’ve never heard of this group, but I would think it is John Lennon’s son don’t you? Oh, yes! Get out the tissues.
Okay, smiles now. I haven’t heard this one in forever by the “Beatles”. Honey, don’t!

happy to be back groovin on the train! And what a great song with Travolta moves to get me started in 2014!!
I am pretty sure that is John Lennon’s son with Yoko: Sean Lennon. Sounds and looks like him. what a beautiful, sad song. very powerful with the images. he was only 5 when his father was gunned down. such a tragedy. Thankfully, his father’s legacy lives on so powerfully.

Baby, you’re the BEST! Good songs, too! I haven’t had meatloaf in a long time! Mmmmmmm

Oh…. and sorry about the long post — that wasn’t actually my Music Monday Post… I do have that in the linky. You caught my long arse year review novel….er, post. 😉

Great songs! For the John Lennon tribute, I think it is his son, Julian, singing. Great family pics included.

Good picks this week I have never heard the John Lennon song before either, I think it’s a soundalike if you get what I mean LOL., I think Honey Don’t was so underated.

Have a tanfasticated week ahead 🙂

I like the Beatles, but I can’t say that I am a fan of John Lennon. It was a tragedy that he was gunned down, though. Human life is precious. I think I have watched Staying Alive, but I am not 100% sure. While watching the clip, I kept thinking of how far John Travolta has come since these early Disco flicks. He’s a great actor! Have a rockin’ week, my friend!

I’m a Beatles fan too but “Honey Don’t” is a new one for me. Great picks, I love them – (although I never really listened to Meatloaf) I might have been missing something good. Anywhoo, I’m off to make new friends and posts comments. Woo hoo!!

It’s so fun seeing the Beatles so young!! The song you played that you just heard does seem like it could be J.Lennon’s son. Happy New Year, Marie!

Interesting assortment this week. Lots to enjoy and something to think about too.
How did you find that Sean Lennon song?

I am pretty sure the song would be from Julian Lennon, their son. Sweet tribute with all of the photos. I love the Beatles. The other two songs were great too.

Still sick, sick but will make the rounds as I can this week.

Great choices! Thanks so much for picking me as the first Spotlight Dancer of 2014 – SO thrilled! 🙂
(can you see me doing the Happy Dance as I type?)

I once had a teacher who looked just like Meatloaf. Poor woman!

There’s this one song by Meatloaf that I LOVED I fell in love with it and never forgot.

Thanks for sharing girl! I enjoyed your party!

Thanks for the lovely comment!
