Another sea adventure with HUGO THE HAPPY STARFISH as he finds out that HAPPINESS begins with RESPECT.

Hugo The Happy Language

Hugo the Happy Starfish is a children’s book with a story about teaching a lesson that to be happy you must give to receive, and it tells the cutest little story of how Hugo learns a lesson to being polite.  It’s a long road and piece by piece he learns the magic of being a nice person and how it is better to be polite then just a “gimmee person” and Hugo was emotional and didn’t quite understand!

treasure Hugo

Definitely a book to teach your child some character education, and about manners!  In my home I taught my children that without please and thank you those two magical little words you didn’t get very far in my house.  Even Grandpa thought them please and thank you and yes sir and no sir.

rulesThe story consists of 29 gorgeous illustrations showing a colorful and magical underwater world.

Children will definitely laugh out loud at these cute delightful characters, and will love to either have you read this story over and over again or the older ones will do it by themselves.  The words are not that hard.

The book comes with a number of worksheets which are downloadable at no cost on their website, and it is also offered in two editions (a version with Spanish introductory vocabulary and an English only version) as well as in different languages such as German, Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese.

‘HUGO THE HAPPY STARFISH – ISLAND ADVENTURES’ has life’s lessons for children showing them the importance of appreciation, patience, tolerance and optimism amongst so many other wonderful lessons.  Hugo gets confused at first, but then he learns about those magic words PLEASE and THANK YOU!

I love dogs. My furry friends are always there to greet me at the door, and there is no better animal.
