This week’s THEME  is a “Songs about the weather or the word weather in the title”!

Starting out with Carrie Underwood’s “Blown Away”!

How about a few raindrops? “Raindrops are fallin’ on my head”

How about “A year without rain” Selena Gomez

How about an old one, “Stormy Weather” Lena Horne
Let’s wind it up with Creedance Clear Water, “Have you ever seen the rain?”

Blown Away is such a powerful song!! She darn near blows you down with her vocals.
LOVE Stormy Weather — I almost did Charles Mingus version. And you can never go wrong with some good ole CCR.

  2.

Good songs! I am going to pin probably all of these to my pin board.
    Happy Monday!

  3.

That was one of my favourite Creedence tracks, coincidence because recently I saw Lena Horne and B J Thomas (Raindrops) singing these on the old Ed Sullivan Shows they repeat here on Saturdays heheh!

Have a tanfabulous week and thanks for pirouetting by 😉

  4.

My husband loves Creedance Clearwater Revival! It’s one of his favorites!

  5.

What a bunch of great classics! I was just hearing Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head in my head the other day, and I never thought of putting it on for today. Good thing you shared it.

How did I miss this week’s theme? I could’ve sworn we were having another freebie week! *sigh* Oh well…I will be sure to use this theme next week. Sorry to be dancing late today, but I had two doctor appointments this morning. All is well, and I am now ready to party. This has been a wet, wet day. We are definitely getting those April showers. Keep dancin’ all week, my friend! You’re a rockin’ queen!

I love that you and I were of the same mindset with Blown Away… 😉 LOVE all your other selections, too – especially Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head and Credence Clearwater. 🙂 You ROCK!! 🙂

I love the oldies. Raindrops on my head was fun as was Creedence Clearwater Revival.
