Are you considering drugs, procedures, or even major surgery for your back pain? If you value your future back health, don’t do anything until you have read this book. Author Gillian Hubble exposes secrets that have been buried in the medical literature for decades.

– Why you have back pain, and why it won’t go away
 – How to identify back pain myths and misconceptions
 – What the most—and least—effective back pain treatments are
 – When to pursue which types of treatment; and
 – Where to look for long-term back pain relief.

My thoughts and Opinion:

In 2007, I was diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis after going a whole year of excruciating pain.  I was sent to a  orthopedic surgeon that I should checked out more closely as far as I’m concerned.  Due to the pain the only way I was comfortable was in an L position and I went ahead and had the surgery done.  Where was this book when I was having this done?  After surgery and three screws & a plate later.  I was having even more pain.  Doctor after doctor, therapist after therapist lead me to a pain control specialist for four years and I got steroid shots to ease the pain & pain killers.  This was not the answer.  The more I searched for the right answer the more pain erupted.

I am not going to give any diagnosis of your back pain.  I can only say please, please read this book it may have the answers for you. It also states that with certain symptoms  this book is not for you, and to visit your physician.  Personally I give this book five gold star because it did hit almost every possibility there is, but I’m sure there are more out there.  My hats off to the author.

We were told years ago by someone who had so many back surgeries, that never to have one. Just live with the pain that you have at that time because with each surgery the pain gets worse.

Well, that’s not exactly true, but I can only say from experience. I had to surgeries and the first one yes was a terrible mistake, but I found a wonderful doctor that did not use screws etc., but my own bone, and removed scar tissue and 75% of my pain away. As far as I’m concerned I thank God for that doctor every day, and I’m still getting better except for a pinched nerve.

Thanks for the lovely comment!
