Have you ever watched those home shows where they have bought a dilapidated house and turned it into a show piece?  It is certainly fascinating to watch isn’t it?   However, what if one of those houses has former ghost inhabitants that just do not want to leave?   Isn’t that special!!!

Author Michael Phillip Cash’s newest book, The Flip is all about a house flip going terribly wrong.

“Julie and Brad Evans are house flippers. They buy low, clean out the old occupants junk, and try to make a profit. Enter Hemmings House on Bedlam Street in scenic Cold Spring Harbor, Long Island. Too good a deal to pass up, but with an ominous secret. The old Victorian Mansion has dwellers that do not want to be dispossessed. As the house reveals it’s past, will the couples marriage survive The Flip?”

So, just in time for Memorial Day weekend and looking toward the Summer,  Michael Phillip Cash wants to introduce The Flip to the world at large. The author is generously giving a great and fun prize pack that will set the winner up right for Summer fun in the sun.

One winner will receive all of the following:

  • A copy of his book, The Flip
  • A screen printed beach towel
  • A bottle of sunscreen
  • A tote to hold it all

I guess I am a little early on this one. Looks like a winner of a giveaway to me.

One thing i would love to find in the house is anything antique or from the early 1800’s. I love looking at memorabilia like old pictures from that era.

I would love to find antique jewels and maybe an old Scottish kilt and bagpipes, or anything from Scotland from the 1700’s.. wouldn’t that be awesome?? Or some old antique books.. or a treasure map!! I could go on and on! lol

I would love to find historical items. Letters from long ago would be fun to find.

Wow….great question to ponder….I will go with rare, valuable movie memorabilia and photography equipment.

    Historical Documents

    Old love letters

I would love to find money! Just kidding, I would love to find jewelry and old antique furniture/trinkets.

I would love to find an old journal. I love history and hearing stories from the past!!

An old diary or series of letters from the 1930’s or earlier, or perhaps a Faberge egg from the Romanov’s collection 🙂

I’d love to find antique jewelry.

I’d love to find old photographs 🙂 Just seeing what life was like and seeing peoples families 🙂

    Some really valuable jewelry!!

I’d like to find everything I’ve ever lost 🙂

If you were a house flipper, what one thing (besides cash) would you like to find hidden in the house?

gold it on the news all the time..

did rafflecopter ban live seeing a lot of copy and past links..they are annoying on big raffles…whats the punishment for?

I would love to see antiques

I would love to find old pictures from the home’s previous owners. How cool would that be? Especially if the home is very old.

I would like to find maybe some old family heirlooms or valuable paintings.
