Synopsis:  Julie and Brad Evans are house flippers.  I didn’t even know what flippers were until I read this book.  Flippers by houses for very little money, and then clean them up to sell and make a profit.  Sounds like fun to me until I read the rest of this book.  This time I think Brad & Julie bit more off then they can chew because they bumped into something other than reality.

Enter Hemmings House on Bedlam Street in scenic Cold Spring Harbor, Long Island.  It was a great deal, but what out what goes on behind close doors & stinky piles of who knows what.   The old Victorian Mansion has dwellers that did not want to be evicted or dispossessed. As Brad keeps digging things start to happen to him like a complete change in personality.   Saying things to his wife he wouldn’t normally say.  His wife loves the house, but he hated it.  While the dwellers work on him the story really takes off and gave me the chills at time, but I could not put the book down.  Will the couple survive this house… will their marriage survive “The Flip?”

My Thoughts & Opinion:  This book held my interest from the first page especially when the dwellers of the house started to talk.  Didn’t like the gory pictorial wording in the first part when he said how dirty the basement was, but when I got passed that it really started to become interesting.  I’m not much of a reader, but this one definitely held my interest and I’m not going to say anymore because I have a tendency of giving things away when I become this excited about a movie or book.  They definitely should make a movie out of this one.

So you want a copy of this book do you? You say you’re ready to meet the inhabitants at Hemmings House on Bedlam Street? (Spooky laughter here) Then enter the rafflecopter below and get ready to get your socks knocked off!  hehehe
