This was really fun because first, I didn’t know you were originally from Chicago, nor did I know about Sinatra and Bennett. This has been an education. I grew up five hours down 55 in St. Louis. My father was in the furniture business, so we used to regularly head to Chicago for the furniture marts. We also took a middle school field trip to your wonderful science museum. I love Chicago!

Great tunes … and Chicago – House of Blues!!!! I’d be there every night I think. ha
This is a great theme – I can’t wait to hear everyone’s home town music.

Two renditions of “Chicago” by the best of the best. It was good hearing that old song again. Hey, what an amazing H.S. drum band Batavia has, I was impressed. Loved those 2 blues bands too but you know I’m big fan of Dave’s so there was no match. Woo hoo! We’ve got another great Monday music blog hop going this week. Love this new theme – as well as the purple (gosh) hair you had with your costume. Looks like you’re having too much fun Marie. Good for you. See you on facebook!

You got some great talent from your hometown including 2 top guys can’t get any better than Frank Sinatra & Tony Bennett, I remember my parents having Bennetts single I Left My Heart In San Francisco I went absolutely mad over the flip side Candy Kisses heheh! now I will have it in my head all day.

Hope your doing good Marie have a tanfabulouslytastic week ahead

Oh, baby ~ Ole Blue Eyes and Bennett! There’s nothing like the classic sound of these old performers. I don’t think they EVER go out of style, do you? I like Dave song ~ very nice. Great intro to your last two groups. Totally new-to-me ~ love the bluesy sound of both bands. You rock, girlfriend!

Chicago is such an awesome place – made even more awesome by your presence. 😉 LOVE your song choices, of course!! Have an awesome week, Marie! 🙂

The Rhythm Of My Heart says You Give Love A Bad Name, but I’m Crazy On You because The Story is Sweeter Than Fiction.

Wow Frank and Tony you pulled out the big guns here. had me melted in a puddle of goo

  9.

You made some great choices (funny how we both have Frank Sinatra and high school students in our posts!)

I’ve never been to Chicago, but it looks like a very interesting town, with a very strong arts scene.
