Billboard’s Top Rock Songs 1955 to 1958… now don’t laugh, but I was born in the 50’s somewhere… ~hehe~ WHEW! That’s a mouth full, huh! Let’s go up a few years! No. 1 hits 1969 that’s the year my first child was born. The year of the Fifth Dimension, Age of Aquarius So, moving on how about the top Billboard hits from 1972… the year my second child, and oldest son Billboard Hits from 77, 79, and 80 would be my next three, but we’ve got some years to cover here, so let’s jump ahead, and hit 1991 the year I met hubby! and I think I’m going to end up with the years 1991 thru 1999 the year we got married… No. 1 hits…

Well, goodness gracious great balls of fire! Marie, you are just loaded with some great hits for today. I’ll be back tomorrow to listen to them all as we are getting ready to watch a movie.
Great selection of hits – Happy Music Monday to you X
Marie, you really covered everything. If I had been thinking straight I would’ve included Elvis and Fat Domino for the 1950s too. It was genius how you did a youtube video homage for each time period – when you and Dave met, when your daughter was first born, as well as for the 1950s and I forget Doris Day too! Seeing that young Elton John somewhere in the mix let’s me know time has passed. But you got the house rockin’ and movin’ and that’s what the blog hop is all about.
Its always fun being on this virtual dance floor with you and all the other bloggers each week. Great job and I’ll see you on facebook soon enough, right? Right!
Okay, I am back, and I linked up! Hooray! It may not be to the theme, but you are going to love them.
Thanks for hosting – I LOVE this week’s theme! It really takes us down memory lane!
Have an awesome week – can’t wait to see what others have shared! 🙂
After going through all your selections I am exhausted catches breath and sits down after that last backflip
Well I was born in 1955 even though I am only 21 still that’s my opinion and I am sticking to it.
have a energetictastic week Marie and you know the drill….don’t do anything I would 😉
What an array of music you have playing this morning! I’m loving all them, too. It looks like you had the same idea for coming up with your picks, as me. lol I loved the Age of Aquarius as a kid! What a fun theme this is going to be today! I can’t wait to stop by everyone’s place to see what they are dancing to. Keep those tunes going, my friend ~ you rock!
Thanks for musical journey back in time through the decades! How fun!
Oh wow talk about a musical journey I’m enjoying the ride. Go ahead crank it up and let’s get to booging.
Wonderful, comprehensive list of tunes there, Marie. I was born in the 50s too and my favourite era for music is approx. 1965-1975. Somehow, the newer stuff, (with exceptions of course), doesn’t often measure up, IMO. Thanks for hosting this great weekly music link up!
Now that was a serious musical journey – like taking a time machine and traveling in time and back again! 🙂 Great selections, Marie! Thanks so much for the dance – you ROCK! 🙂
Stacy, dancing with you is like floating on a cloud! YOU ROCK too Baby Girl! HUGS TO ALL!
Whee! I managed to make it in on the first day this time! I will be making my rounds shortly. Loved all your selections 🙂
Hi, I will try and remember to post next week. I will make sure to stay within the next. Sorry I honestly did not know there was a specific genre or years to post. Thanks for visiting me and following. I followed you back. Have a wonderful day 🙂
I definitley should have done samples of the best songs! What a great idea!
