That is such a neat looking picture! And here I thought I was too young to get married and I’m nearly 25. LOL It’s still weird to think I could get married and start a family if I wished. Things sure have changed though since those times!

Mmm, your recipe sounds good. I’m going to have save this. Oh, I love the vintage photo of your grandparents wedding! That must have cost a lot of money for the time judging how elaborate the clothes look. Getting married early on long ago wasn’t an uncommon thing, but it would be unthinkable today to have our 14-year old daughters wed. I love seeing beautiful old pictures as this.

Your recipe sounds delicious and I love that old photo! Yes I agree at 14 years old they are still babies themselves! Take care and have a nice weekend.

Wonderful old wedding photo. I don’t have any old photos–my parents never accumulated photos other than from our immediate family. I have some relatives who have photos of that era, but I rarely see those relatives.

    Tossing It Out

I love old pictures, too. I asked my grandfather to scan some pictures for me, but he doesn’t know how to do it – even though he is a little computer savvy (he can email!). I would like to have some of his old pictures as I know that his other families (he is currently married to his fifth wife the Bluebeard) will get the photos.

Thanks for the lovely comment!
