  1.

Midnight Train to Georgia is such a great great song!! and you cannot leave out Don’t Stop Believin – no way! great tunes to rock out on a train my friend. get that whistle blowing and lets jam! 🙂

  2.

I adore that last one by Sheena Easton!

  3.

The O’Jays “Love Train”,” I love that song and didn’t even think of it! I figured a few people would have Gladys’ “Midnight Train to Georgia” so I intentionally left that one out. And “Journey”..yeah “the midnight train to anywhere” lyric was buried in that song, so okay. I never heard that Aerosmith’s song but I know Sheena’s “Morning Train.” You did good Maria, woo hoo! This was a fun theme because it make us think and dig.

Hope you keep the music playing all week – but we’ll be talking on facebook so it’s all good. Can’t wait to see those baby pictures you promised to posted up. I saw the one from your granddaughter’s baby shower but I know more are coming. Congratulations again!

  4.

Aerosmith is always classic and a good add.
Free bird would be a nice addition, as well.

  5.

Choo choo! Just a chuggin’ along and enjoying the love train music. Next stop, Cucamonga!

  6.

Great song selection – I totally agree with the comment you left on my blog!

I considered putting up the Journey song (LOVE Steve Perry!) but opted for a change of heart at the last moment.

GREAT choice by Sheena Easton – totally forgot about that one!

Have a wonderful week and see you for WW! 🙂

  7.

What a great theme! I love “Don’t stop believin” -It always makes me want to dance and sing along!

  8.

this is classic, reminded me when music is still not annoying as justin bieber

  9.

Don’t stop believing brought to my mind so many nice memories. Great taste of music!

  10.

Good selection Marie with a bit of nostalgia 😉

    Have a nostalgictastic week & ….Do something I wouldn’t …oops! Don’t do anything I would 😉

  11.

Whoo-hoo, girl! Great minds DO think alike! lol I can’t believe we picked out the same two songs. You have some mighty good picks here and many I almost used. Here’s a tid-bit for ya. Years ago, I met Nathan Best (from the O’Jays). At that time, he lived in town and was a minister. The kids met him and got his autograph. They knew the O’Jays by name and when we played their music it clicked. It was fun for them (and me) to meet a member from the group. Have a tunetastic week, Marie!

  13.

Ohh you’ve got some goodies here!! Happy Monday to you!

  14.

I like the one by Sheena Easton and Aerosmith. They are a bit old but it’s just timeless.

  15.

Thank you for posting the blog hop! I actually have had the Love Train song stuck in my head for a while, love the glitter banner for it!

  16.

Areosmith! Journey! 2 of my all time favorite groups!

  17.

I am a huge O’Jays Fan. Thanks for the music! Made a dreary day shine.

  18.

Aero Smith and Journey, now that’s music I love!

  19.

Don’t Stop Believin’ is one of the best rock and roll songs of all time. So good!

  20.

I’m only 34, but I only recognize the songs on the old but good list. I was born in the wrong decade, I think.

  21.

Oh my I haven’t heard Sheena Easton in forever so many awesome memories. I’m so dancing in the streets with this one.

  22.

Rock ‘N Roll! Beautiful music. Train kept rolling, all night long! Dance in my chair as I work and listen to this music.

  23.

What a fun blog hop! Love the music 🙂

  24.

  26.

I love Journey! I haven’t heard that song in ages. Thanks for sharing these songs.

  27.

Thank you for sharing all of this music with us. You’ve picked quite a varied selection!

  28.

Music certainly soothes your soul. Love your selections! Great variety!

  29.

You can not go wrong with Journey. Their music reminds me so much of high school in the 80’s.

  30.

One can never be disappointed with Aerosmith or Journey.

  31.

Midnight Train to Georgia is a great song! You also listed some other great artists.

  32.

I was trying to remember some of these but couldn’t 🙂
    Thanks for rocking out Dolly!

Hope your week is going great!

  33.

Ahhhh!!!! I’m going to be singing Journey all day now! If only I actually knew all the words, LOL.

  34.

Don’t Stop Believing is one of my favorite songs! I actually read an ecard the other day and I wanted to share it with you…

If don’t stop believin’ starts playing and the person you’re with doesn’t sing along, stop talking to them! You don’t need that kind of negativity in your life… Hahaha!

  35.

Don’t Stop Believin’ is the best sing-along bar song ever. I can’t not sing when I hear it!

  36.

Journey is a good band. Their lead vocalists right now, Arnel Pineda is from our country Philippines!

  37.

Don’t Stop Belivin’ is pretty much the best song ever, this is a interesting post to say the least

  38.

Nice list of music for mondays again! 🙂

  39.

lol This is such a fun idea. I haven’t come across this linky before but, now that I have, I’ll be back. Maybe add my own input sometime soon!! 😛

Thanks for the lovely comment!
