Well, this week’s theme is a Freebie so let me see what I have in my old bag of tricks for you…  oh yes, I’ve been dying to post this one for a week now every since I saw it.  It’s by Maroon Five, and I just love, love, love what they did and I love the tune. “Sugar”  🙂

Pavarotti was a great singer! Is his granddaughter? This to was sent to me you have just got to hear her!  Charles and Wilma Monluis send a video of Sislena Caparossa, 15, singing the aria Nessun Dorma from the opera Turandot of Giacomo Puccini, in a dramatic performance which brought tears to the eyes of many members of the audience:

Another song I love is Uncle Cracker “Follow Me”!

and how about some fun with Toby Keith… I love this bar!

Another one I like to party to is the Boot Scootin’ Boogie!

Post songs of bands and/or people with animal names in them.
The only rule is no one can post songs by The Beatles!
As clarification: the band or people have to have the name, not necessarily their songs.
As a hint, there are at least 100 bands/people with names of animals.

So, my first tune I thought of was… Phish!  Okay, well… it was close… right? Anyway my next one is… The Animals in “House of the Rising Sun”!  And my next one is The Byrds in Mr. Tamborine Man…  and of course how can we forget THE EAGLES! WOO HOO in Witchy Woman  And for my last one I want to play for you Toby Keith & Willie Nelson in, “Beer for my Horses“!

REMEMBER… WE ARE ONE!!!  LOVE YOU ALL… HUGS… animated gifs photo: Guitarwithmusicalnotesfloatingup.gifDon’t forget to follow everyone! Now let’s ROCK!

I love Boot Scootin’ Boogie! And really dug the Maroon 5 vid. Adam Levine is hot, even with nerd glasses 🙂

  2.

I LOVE Sugar, it’s my favorite song off their new album! I’m a little bummed they choose it as their new video/single because now it’s going to be overplayed on the radio and I’ll probably hate it! But for now (and since the album first came out) it’s my FAVORITE <3

  3.

Monday Music is such a fun blog hop! I very rarely listen to music except what happens to be on the radio in the car while I am driving places.

  4.

You and Becca thinking alike today! 🙂
Boot Scootin’ boogie…now, there ya go!

  5.

I love music and some of these are old favorites. Uncle Kracker’s Follow Me has very sentimental meaning to me. My brother in law had taken his daughter to see his concert because of this song and he passed away a couple of weeks later at only 39. It’s still tough to get through without tears.

  6.

Nice freebie picks, Marie! Maroon 5 Sugar is a good one to get the party movin’. Thanks for hosting the boogie woogie fun, girlfriend. You’re Queen of the dance floor! 😉

  7.

Love this idea for a link up! Music always seems to bring together everyone even when it’s in different languages. And I LOVE what Maroon 5 did by singing and crashing those weddings. Looked like they had a blast!

  10.

First, so sorry I accidentally put my music link on the wrong linky list. It’s Monday. Can’t blame me. Heh.
And next, I didn’t know pavarotti had a granddaughter! She’s awesome. Great musical genes must run in the family!
And that Uncle Kracker song – oh my. Haven’t heard it in ages! Thanks for posting it!

I love that video by Maroon 5, only it wasn’t real 🙁
Kinda crappy. http://www.thebounce.ca/2015/01/21/maroon-5-sugar-video-fake/ but it was a great video all the same and a fun song. One of my newest faves is that Uptown Funk feat Bruno Mars.

    Those are all great picks!
