What a cute photo of you and your brother! I can’t believe Easter is just around the corner. Weird Al is so much fun. He’s my favorite parody artist ever! Have a good weekend, Marie!

You two sure do look cute. I think your brother’s white suit is neat, but that parasol with all the lace and ruffles you’re carrying is so sweet!

I love old pictures especially when I get to see things behind the subjects. What city did you grow up in? That doesn’t look like a suburb. I’ve never lived in a big city. My younger years were all in the suburbs of Los Angeles county, and we hardly went into Los Angeles.

I grew up in Chicago my friend. The house we’re standing in front of was my Gramma Chamberlin’s house (paternal parent). I remember she had this upright piano in the front-room for show because nobody played it except my Mom when we came over. She said it added a bit of class to the house. 🙂 I was born and raised in Mayor Daley’s neighborhood they called Bridgeport just a few miles from downtown. 🙂

Thanks for the lovely comment!
