An absolute classic but now I will have Shall We Dance going around in me head all day LOL

Have a moviemagic day and don’t do anything I would …just reminding you LOL 🙂

Great theme for the challenge! I remember seeing this movie years ago and enjoying it immensely! It was a good story line with solid acting!

enjoy the rest of the challenge!

Yul Brynner was amazing in this film! Great choice for K.

The King And I used to be my favorite movie growing up – the remake with Jodie Foster was not too bad either – blessings!

I prefer listening to the sound track as apposed to watching the movie. The music is wonderful.

This is an excellent movie with awesome acting.

The King and I will be coming to theatres for a limited run later this year, to mark its anniversary. I saw it advertised as one of the upcoming TCM rereleases when I went to see The Maltese Falcon recently on its own special anniversary.

Marie, I remember this old musical The King and I, but I think I may have only seen it once and when I was younger I wish broadcast TV aired it again. They may had, but I never got to see it. I’m going to check with Netflix and Amazon Prime to see if it’s available. Thanks for reminding of this movie.

I like this one. My theatre company did this a couple years ago and I was one of the king’s wives. ~Meg
