Today’s theme is Songs that Inspire us. My first one is “Somewhere over the Rainbow”, and I found this article that goes with the song that explains exactly the way I feel. “An all-time classic, Somewhere Over The Rainbow speaks of this magical place over the rainbow where things will be better. It refers to this other place that is better compared to where we are now. If you are feeling down and out, and when things seem tough, this song will lift you up. Just remember that the better place isn’t “somewhere out there,” but here where we are. It’s up to us to make the best out of what we have, now”. 🙂 and our second song is a song that really got me out of the dumps when I got divorced so many years ago. Here I was a single mother, no job, and four children. I was looking for a job at the time with tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat when this song came on. I pulled over and cried got it out of my system and I thought “Cut it out.. this is a Wonderful World”. “I’m free, and I’m my own boss and four beautiful children and they’re healthy. It is a… and this song also made me feel like I could really make it in the single life all on my own, and I did it! The next song inspired me because of the love I have for my Big Brother. He died at age 44 of a heartattack and I never got the chance to tell him this.. a Rafflecopter giveaway
