By Marie Moody
Married to my Soulmate. Mother of 4, grandmother of 12, and great-grandmother of 2 and owner of 1 demanding black lab & I'm a retired Legal Assistant & pianist. I am also on disability due to Spinal Stenosis. I am now a blogger which I love very much & it keeps me busy & I also enjoy crocheting.
There is something very sweet, and at the same time very disturbing, about “I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas.” Gayla Peevey really hammed it up on that one. I love the strut she goes into during the musical interlude.
Marie, thank you for allowing me to fill in as co-host. I’m happy to stick around as long as you need me. Now, thank you for the beautiful Christmas mewsic. I, especially enjoyed the Dolly and Kenny duets. Have a blessed week, my friend!
So much fun awaits. Have a Merry Little Christmas!
Hope you are enjoying the season. Great songs.
Rogers and Parton paired up quite a bit back then.
I’ll join you next week! No post today.
