Today’s theme ” British Invasion either song or groups. Can be current singers or past”. My first tune is an old tune I really use to like. A Whiter Shade Of Pale – Procol Harum… Next we have… Our name sake… Moody Blues… Night in White Satin and how about Eric Clapton in “I shot the Sheriff” and John Lennon, Eric Clapton, Keith Richards, Mitch Mitchell (Jimi Hendrix Experience) and last but not least a medley with Bruce Springstein and Paul McCartney… well here sing along.. Queen + Beatles Live (Brian May Paul McCartney Roger Taylor Eric Clapton Rod Stewart)
George Harrison, Bruce Springsteen, Mick Jagger, Bob Dylan and others — “I Saw Her Standing There”
MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND BRING YOU HAPPINESS, MUCH HEALTH AND PROSPERITY FOR 2017! HUGS

Absolutely love your picks Marie I remember my dad buying Whiter Shade Of Pale
Have a nostalgictastic day and don’t do anything I would 🙂
Marie, I love the theme but as you know I’m horrible with playing alone since I get my mewsic done ahead of the game. However, I think I deserve a pass since today’s choices were actually inspired by our favorite British (Steve) 4M party goer. 🙂 Thanks for hosting the best dance party in Blogosphere and for allowing me co-host until Stacy returns. Have a good week, my friend! 😉
I don’t understand. This was not inspired by Steve. What made you think that? It was chosen by our Spotlight Dancer… Naila-Moon! Hmmmm
I know all of those groups!
British invasion always makes me think of The Sweet.
Marie, LOL What I meant was I had no idea about today’s theme or who came up with it but it just so happens that my original inspiration for today’s post (I had it scheduled a week or more ago) came from Steve after visiting him. However the biggest coincidence is how my artist selection also happens to be British which works perfectly for today’s theme. 🙂
Great songs and thanks for hosting.
Good picks! I especially liked “Yer Blues” (third on the list). I don’t know how much they played together before this, but they sound tight together.
