Today’s theme is “songs with ‘blue’ in the title, blues songs, and/or songs that you play when you’re feeling blue”. My first tune is naturally “Blue Monday”, Fats Domino
. Our next tune is by Foghat “Stone Blue” Now, a favorite of mine for a really long time… LeeAnn Rhimes in “Blue” How about a tune from Grease??? BLUE MOON Hey Y’all let’s take it further back, and try another BLUE MOON
ENJOY & HAVE A GREAT WEEK! HUGS!
MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND BRING YOU HAPPINESS, MUCH HEALTH AND PROSPERITY FOR 2017! HUGS and now just one of the Blues. This tune my mother use to always play it on the accordion so it reminds me of her very strongly! ENJOY the ST. LOUIS BLUES!

Don’t forget to follow everyone! Bye y’all! See ya next time!

Some old and new picks I’m gonna have Blue Moon in my head all day now LOL and that baby vid had me in fits laughing.
Have a superelastictastic day Marie (try say that after a few wines) 🙂
Marie, Blue Monday to Blue Moon all excellent “Blue” tunes to rock-start the week. There’s nothing about any of these songs to bring you down if nothing else you’ll find yourself boogieing in your chair with a smile on your face. Thanks for sharing the dance floor with me today! Have a bluetastic week!
I can’t hear Blue Moon without thinking of Chevy Chase in Fletch.
Will next week be a freebie?
Yes, my dear friend. Next week is a freebie and every other week is how it works!!! Woo Hoo! I hope that means you’ll join us!!!! have a rockin’ week!!!
Great songs. Loves the two different versions of Blue Moon. So classic.
I always think of Fats Domino as more of a New Orleans musician rather than a rocker, but he did some great songs, didn’t he?
Mary played the accordion as well, but I never heard her play “St. Louis Blues.” It’s a classic; of course, my favorite version is Django Reinhardt’s.
Good set today!
Thanks for the dance Marie.
I just realized that I haven’t heard or seen LeeAnn in quite sometime.
Aloha!
Thanks for the warm welcome back, Marie! 🙂 Love all your choices for the blue but not blue Monday! 😉 Thanks so much for the dance! 🙂
Louisiana Blues under Blue Skies with a Big Blue Wave makes for a Blue Jean Night!
