Rock on and Happy Mother’s Day!

  2.

As a young girl coming up. I just listen to the tunes and didn’t always know who sang them. Love dancing with you Dolly.

I hope you had a lovely Mother’s Day! *HUGS*
Thanks for your love and prayers.

    Marie,

“I Can’t Get No Satisfaction” is a classic 60s rock song we all know well. “Me and Bobby McGee” is another memorable song from that era. Thanks for the dance, dear friend. I hope you had a blessed Mother’s Day. Have a groovy week!

Great songs. I loved them all. Thanks for hosting.

  5.

Excellent song choices, Marie! Those are the few from the 60’s that I actually like! 😉 Hope you had an awesome Mother’s Day! 🙂

Great songs today! Sometimes I think I’m stuck in the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s. I can’t help it – there was some good music in those days.

Great selection here! I’m with Mary B– I stopped listening to pop music sometime in the Nineties because I had already heard the greatest music made by then.

  8.

I decided to go with some one hit wonders from 1960.

  9.

My favorite musical decade for rock and pop is the seventies, but the sixties come mighty close as that decade laid the groundwork for the music to come later. Heck, I like music period. Every decade has had some great music to offer.
