  1. Marie,

You shared some great classics. “Daniel” always makes me sad to hear it. I learned from Michelle this morning it was written about a soldier returning home from the Vietnam War. I think I sorta got that feeling when it came out years ago but never knew it was actually written for this reason. I somehow just got that feeling. There was only one in the mix I didn’t know and that’s “Joey”. I appreciate the intro to a new song. Have a tunetastic week, dear friend!

      1. Oh yeah… and I remember Shelley Fabares… The Decades network has a feature called “The Weekend Binge,” and one weekend they were showing “The Donna Reed Show.” We used to watch it all the time as kids, and I swear I sat up half the night watching it and remembering just how much fun it was.

  2. Hey Marie, I’m here, finally! Thanks for your patience. Been a crazy week! Soo, tell me: you used to sing in a band?? How cool is that?! Details please! 🙂
I loved the song Joey. I never heard it before. I really like it. I bet that was a fun song to sing. You must have a great voice…
We sure did have some of the same songs. Ode to Billie Joe is definitely a favorite and who doesn’t love Hit the Road Jack?! Love Ray Charles and his Raelettes!

Have an awesome weekend. I’m skipping out on Monday’s 4M. I just have so much to catch up on but I’ll be back in action the following week.
