Marie,
Great dance mewsic! The skeleton face make up demo favors DS this year. I noticed on FB DD#1 shared her artist ability making DS look really creepy on Saturday night. He looked rather frightening, too. I much prefer sweeter costumes like the days when he was Pooh Bear. 🙂 Thanks for sharing the dance floor with me today, my friend. You’re the best!
Somebody’s Watching me is a fave in my house! It’s just weird and fun.
Thanks for the fun over here Dolly.
Save some candy for me!
*HUGS*
Great songs. Thanks for hosting and for the dance.
For my money, the best version of “I Put A Spell On You” is a tie between CCR and Angelina Jordan. Right now, I’m leaning toward Angelina…

I love “The Skeleton Dance.” Max Fleischer needed the Rotoscope to achieve that kind of realistic movement. Ub Iwerks was a genius.
Mine’s up and running as well.
Hi Marie,
What a fun and fabulous post you have here! I loved it! I adored Frank Skinnotra and the Gabbing Gourds! That was just plain silly fun.
Was mesmerized by the artistry of the half-skull and spine application. It must be extremely hard to create illusion like that. Impressive!
I never saw Bette Midler’s performance of “I Put a Spell on You” — she’s incredible. I really enjoyed.
Hope you have a blast tomorrow. Be safe out there, whatever you’re doing…
I really liked everything you included in your Halloween post. Great job!
Michele at Angels Bark
You have allllllllllllllll of my favorites, Marie! Loved your choices! And like Michele, I was mesmerized by the half-skull spine makeup video…I wish I had the patience to try that! 🙂 Thanks for the awesome dance!!
That 1929 Silly Symphony was awesome, and no computer graphics either. Amazing what they could do with a lot of talent and work.
