Titanic’s Final Moments – The True Story

This is James Cameron’s Titanic movie, except almost all of the scenes with Rose and Jack are cut out, leaving only stuff that actually has to do with the sinking. I also included deleted scenes that were cut out of the final film.

I remember in the mid 1980s when the Titanic was discovered and there was a crazed fever around it, we had a whole section of school devoted to studying it – science, history, literature – the teacher loved to tailor all the subjects around one topic. I got a ton of Titanic backstory back then. 😉

For some reason I can’t see most of this post. As to the question you asked at the end, maybe they all tell the story? After all, there were a lot of people on that ship, and plenty of survivors with different takes on the experience.

Cameron’s didn’t tell the complete story, but it did captivate people in way no other movie had.
With so many on the ship, there were over a thousand different stories that could be told.
Thanks for participating in the blogfest!

Like the commenter above, I can’t see most of the post. Cameron’s Titanic is the only one I’ve watched, and it did tell a thumping good story, even if it was only one of the thousands waiting to be told.

I’ve never seen Cameron’s Titanic. I’ve seen a few of the others, and loved the one with Barbara Stanwyck.

Such a tragedy! I am drawn to movies about it because the time period and the drama are so ripe for great romantic stories.

I knew there were a lot of versions of the Titanic story, but I didn’t know there were this many.

Thanks for the lovely comment!
