I remember in the mid 1980s when the Titanic was discovered and there was a crazed fever around it, we had a whole section of school devoted to studying it – science, history, literature – the teacher loved to tailor all the subjects around one topic. I got a ton of Titanic backstory back then. 😉

  2. For some reason I can’t see most of this post. As to the question you asked at the end, maybe they all tell the story? After all, there were a lot of people on that ship, and plenty of survivors with different takes on the experience.

    Like the commenter above, I can’t see most of the post. Cameron’s Titanic is the only one I’ve watched, and it did tell a thumping good story, even if it was only one of the thousands waiting to be told.
