    Hey Marie,
Wonderful music here! Loved seeing the Stylistics. Interesting that they were on the same stage with New Kids on the Block and performing together. But it’s sure obvious that no one can sing the Stylistics like the Stylistics! NKOTB just didn’t come close to reaching those notes and singing in key like those amazing Style-kings! I was actually kinda shocked and embarrassed for Donny Wahlberg and the other one (can’t remember his name right now).
    Such a great song too…

I really enjoyed Carrie Underwood. Choctaw County Affair: So good! Love her voice! And the performance with Keith Urban was fantastic!

Have a great week. Time is flying and each week goes by faster than the one before it, it seems…

Michele, great minds think alike as they say. I totally agree with all. Love the Stylistics and when I heard they were coming to town at a local theater just had to see what was goin’ on & I totally agree. ‘NO” one can hit those notes like they do. They just put you in that mellow romantic mood instantly. Carrie Underwood has been my favorite since she won American Idol. It’s a shame she stuck with that tag though. I think she’s on stage because of her talent period & she does make a good team with anyone though, but Keith was a good choice. Really like him, but why he married … hahaha I can’t remember her name now… hahaha… I shall never know. What an odd couple, don’t you think? HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND TOO! So happy you have joined us!

I agree with Michelle – it was the Stylistics all the way. And I I don’t know why, but when I hear Carrie Underwood sing a song like Church Bells, I immediately think of Lizzie Hale of Halestorm. I should see if they have every done a song together. Thank you for the ride!

  3.

Morning my friend, I love all of your choices today.

  4.

I forgot to thank you for naming me your spotlight dancer next week. I’ll do you proud, Marie!

hahaha – You are too cute, but I cannot take all the credit. You were chosen by random.org . I don’t want anyone say we pick by favorites… believe it or not there are some people out there that don’t agree with my choices… and all I really do is aim to please… be friendly… and make sure everyone… and I do mean EVERYONE is having fun… cuz I love you all!!! You are the best friends and group I have come across since I started blogging. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!! ~hehehe~ love ya have a rockin’ week! Oh, and you already do me proud just by rockin’ with us… you do us all proud!

St. Charles? Is that as in St. Charles, MO? I grew up in St. Louis.

  6.

Good collection of different songs here! I could be a smartass and say that Carrie Underwood is no Little Walter on the harmonica, but then, NO ONE was Little Walter on the harmonica, and she is quite good. Nice to see your husband on the first one, and the NKOTB and Stylistics sounded good on that one.

    •

Thanks John for givin’ the hubby props on his video. and as far as Carrie Underwood playing the harmonica I was just surprised to see her playin’ didn’t know she knew how & I think she’s quite good for a girl. Well, they tried, but nobody can beat the Stylistics on their tunes for sure… I don’t care how old they get… ~hehehe~ Way ta go my friend! Thanks for stoppin’ by! big hugs

  7.

Nice choices. I saw New Kids on the block in concert in 1988, I brought a girl I used to babysit for.

  8.

Marie, my dear, I’m here this morning ready to dance with you! I enjoyed the second video of New Kids on the Block & the Stylistics. Old rockers met new on stage at the Arcade Theater. Looks like ya have connection to seeing some interesting shows. 🙂 Thanks for putting the move in my groove. Have a dancetastic week, my friend!

  9.
