Money makes the world go round Liza Minnelli Up next is the Bee Gees did a lot of tunes especially with Saturday Night Live, but my favorite one is How do you mend a broken heart The there’s James Bond and I think the one Adele did was the best! Skyfall live at the Oscars in 2013, So, let’s see oh yesssssssssssssss another of my favorites is from The Lion King – Hakuna Matata and finally how about some of the coolest jazz I ever heard & for our birthday boy… The Jungle Book – I wanna be like you
LUV YA ALL …………. AND GOD BLESS YOU & GOD BLESS AMERICA ! Thanks for Subscribing to emails & Following us! LOVE YOU ALL… HUGS… THANKS FOR THE DANCE~~~ WHEW! I’M POOPED! ~hehehehe~

Don’t forget to follow everyone! Bye y’all! See ya next time!

Great picks! I especially liked the money song and Jungle Book. Jungle Book makes me chuckle every time I see it. Plus, it was the first movie I ever saw in a theatre, and my daughter has a dog named Mowgli.
Liza & Joel really did a marvelous job on that tune for sure & love your daughter’s puppy’s name… what a great idea!
I liked the first three better than the last two. Guess I’m not a Disney kind of guy.
I’ve never seen “Cabaret,” and the only way I’ll see it is if it comes on one of the movie channels we get over-the-air, but Liza Minnelli and Joel Grey were hilarious with this song.
I always feel sad when I see video of The Bee Gees, knowing that Robin and Maurice have passed on. And I always preferred their pre-“Saturday Night Fever” songs, which have been all but forgotten. This especially is a beautiful song.
The Bond themes are always good, even if the movie wasn’t. I’ve especially liked Daniel Craig as 007. I’ve read the original books (some in their early printings, with the real tiny print), and when I first saw him, I said, “yeah, that’s 007!” When I heard this, I was amazed at how much Adele sounds like Carly Simon here. And she looks gorgeous.
Great batch here, Dolly!
Well, thanks for the boogie John! I believe this is the best comment you have ever put here. BIG HUGS & I totally agree with your whole comment!
Marie,
The Bee Gees…what a great 70s group. Like John, it makes me sad to think two of the brothers have passed. Daniel Craig is not my favorite 007 but I really like “Skyfall”. It’s a great James Bond theme song. Thanks for sharing your freebie mix with us today, dearie. Have a great week! BTW, did you sign up for the A2Z Challenge? Today is theme reveal. 🙂
Thanks for the dance Cat and yes I did sign up just the other day I believe for our A2Z Challenge… my theme is Music of course.. hehehehe!
Thanks for sharing these “quirky” songs today. The BeeGees made some marvelous music. I’ve heard so much about that Adele song but this is the first time I actually heard it.
Thank you for stopping by Cathy! I’m so glad you enjoyed my line up & so happy to have introduced
Adelle’s “Skyfall” to you. It truly is a wonderful song!
super cool tunes I went old school this week with The kinks.
Great choices. Your grandson is a cutie. Callie is in my prayers.
Thank you so much!!! Most of all thanks for stopping by and playing along with us at Monday’s Music Moves Me.
Hi Marie,
I love the Bee Gees. It’s always so sad: there has been so much tragedy and loss for those brothers and their families. They made some awesome songs together!
Love Adele! She has an incredible voice. I never saw the Skyfall movie though.
Liza Minelli is so talented. I have never seen the show though and don’t know who she’s performing with in your clip.
Never really heard the Disney songs. I guess that because I don’t have kids running around…like your adorable grandson! He is a cutie!
Have a good week,
Michele at Angels Bark
The Bee Gees I’ve loved from the very first. Adele – well, what can you say about Adele except that she rocked the entire James Bond theme genre! And The Jungle Book – I am not the biggest Disney fan but this song had an old fashioned vibe – and the video clip was amusing.
