Totally cool my friend!
Frank Zappa! You have some good ones – I thought of a Frank Sinatra song but my first artist pick just kept going and going. By the way, is the linky missing? I can’t link.
Will keep everyone in my prayers.
Music moves the soul and our rhythm too – making us do wonderful work in wonderful time – we’re done before we know it!
Every good song can always be re-played and re-lived, like ever before.
Music is timeless, music is rhythm!
Thank you for letting me be in the spotlight. Great choices, I love Sinatra. And I was in the musical Oklahoma when my community theatre did it in the 1980’s. 🙂 Have a wonderful week!
Whoa! It’s a family affair today! Remember that Sly & the Family Stone song? My old voice coach was in a production of Oklahoma. Great selections.
*swoops in out of breath* Hey, I am here, I am here! I love them all but tell Dave he picked the winner. LOL
Come by, I went a tiny bit different of course!
Oh Lord, Frank Zappa! I’ve never been a fan but boy, the folks who are Zappa fans are serious about it! They are devout fans. I have a friend who has tried for years to turn me into a Zappa fan. Lol.
Can’t go wrong with the Frank!
I’m not much on musicals but I do want to see Meet Me In St Louis because it was referenced in the first Sex and the City movie (by Jennifer Hudson’s character to “Carrie”)…
Have a good week. I won’t be dancing with you all next week because I have surgery on Monday (shoulder surgery: rotator cuff repair). Not sure when I’ll feel like whacking away at the laptop keyboard so may be a few weeks, not sure)…

Marie,
I’m finally making my rounds on the dance floor. Thanks for remembering us in your prayers during our time of loss. It’s been difficult but we’re at peace knowing my FIL is in heaven with our heavenly Father and is reunited with the love of his life. 🙂
I knew all of your “PLACES” song selections, except for Frank Zappa’s “Cucamonga”. I think Ellen’s theme needs to be repeated down the line sometime, don’t you? I found it to be a fun and interesting challenge. There’s so many good choices out there. I need to get back to getting things done around the house. Have a pawsome week, dear friend!
Wonderful post, super theme, I sat this round out!
