So let’s see what I can dig out of my ol’ musical safe here… hmmmmmmm Well, here’s one for Easter first.. hehehehe How about the “BUNNY FREEZE”! Well, Easter is over and time to move on. Music has been a big part of my life and I have my Mom to thank for that. If she was here she would’ve celebrated her 96th birthday March 29th so this one is for my Mama her favorite song was the “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company B” by The Andrew Sisters. Mama loved to dance and this one is for her.
Another beautiful song was by Brooks & Dunn, “Believe” and Bruno Mars my most favorite singer in “Beautiful Girls” Our “B” letter is sooooooooooo much fun, don’t you think?!!! Okay, just one more with Amy Winehouse in “Back to Black”!

I’m not familiar with a lot of these songs (Except Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy) but I will say your Mom had such a beautiful smile. She must have been quite the dancer, too.

I’m here bright eyed (almost) and bushy tail ready to boogie with you! Whew…this past week has been a blurry of events with laying my sweet FIL to rest last Monday, going through some of our belongings stored at my in-laws to toke home with us in our rental vehicle, unloading rental, returning vehicle, washing laundry, etc, etc I’m worn out…still! Hopefully I’ll have the energy to dance with everyone today as I’m getting an early start with everyone.
Anywho, so great to get moving with ‘your choice’ mewsic picks this morning. The Andrew Sisters, “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” iconic ditty played while my FIL was a solider in WWII. That’s a fabulous song to get you movin’ at the start of the week. I like your other song choices, too.

Awesome choices as usual, Marie! Sorry I’ve been slacking lately – first hubby’s spring break, then kids’ spring break and hubby home all week sick has thwarted all efforts of getting things done around here! 🙂 Should be back to a ‘normal’ schedule next week as I’ll have my house back with just me and The Nag during the day (of course it’s a disaster, amazing how fast things get messy when everyone’s home and not picking up after themselves!
