A-Z sounds like so much fun, but I always forget it’s in April! I love all the music over here today – such upbeat stuff!
Some memories of my youth. Zippedity do dah, the Mark of Zorro (gosh, can I still use that for my TV Theme in June?) – all great picks for the last day of A to Z. And thank YOU and other 4Mers for voting me into the ranks of Conductor. Thank you!
Yes, sweetie and CONGRATS, CONGRATS, CONGRATS on your inauguration of becoming one of our Musical Conductors…! WOO HOO! So happy for you… HUGS Yes, you can use that Zorro for your theme. ~hehehe~ Did you get my email with regards to your linky? I figured out why the linky didn’t work. Sorry for the confusion. BIG BIG THANK YOU FOR JOINING US & FOR NOW LET’S BOOGIE! WOO HOO BIG HUGS
Marie,
Fabulous ‘Z’ songs to cross the A2Z finish line where we can party! Judy Garland looks very young. Wackipedia says she sang this song in the film, “LISTEN DARLING” (1938) which made her 17 years old. Judy was born the same year as my darling late FIL 1922. This year would’ve been her 95th birthday. She was really cute little darlin’, wasn’t she.
I enjoyed your 4M freebie selections. I kept thinking, “Wow, there’s a young Carrie Underwood before her days of fame.” I actually think she was a better soon pre-fame. She’s lost her sweet edge which came across in her vocals. Rufus Thomas with The Blues Brothers is great fun. Thanks for putting me in a boogie mood, my friend!

Good job in catching all my tunes my friend… and thank you for welcoming our new conductor! Isn’t it fun to find someone like us? ~hehehe~ We’re still looking for others though that would like to be an Honorary Conductor & pick themes. Don’t forget you have to pick a month too and pick the themes. Just let me know. May & June is already picked. Soooooooooooooo LET’S BOOGIE! IT’S OUR TURN… Whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaa you dance divinely darrrrrrrrling!!!! ~HEHEHE~ SHAKE DAT THANG!!!! bwahahaha HUGS
You certainly picked a variety today.
Congratulations on finishing the Challenge.
Yes, and I had fun crossing that finish line (like our Cathy put it) for the A2Z party! Personally I cannot wait until next year… totally FUNNNNNNNNNNNN! I think we should start advertising better next year. So many asked me about it and didn’t know where to sign up. I’m volunteering now if you like to share the info. hugssss Oh & thank you for stopping by my friend…
All of your songs are great. Loved them all. Great job on finishing your challenge. Something I could never do. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
Some really good songs here. First, congratulations on finishing the A to Z Challenge!
I always feel a little sad when I see anything from “Song of the South,” because I know it’s considered terribly un-PC. The “Uncle Remus” stories were originally told on the plantations by the Black slaves, and Joel Chandler Harris just wrote them down. Harris was from Eatonton, Georgia and there’s a museum there in his honor.
Judy Garland was fifteen when she was in the movie “Listen, Darling,” which is the source of the clip of her singing. FIFTEEN. What a voice!
Randy Travis has a tremendous voice, doesn’t he?
And ol’ Rufus was one of the most entertaining performers ever. Remember him back in the 60’s and 70’s?
Whoa! You found some Z songs. How about Zager and Evens who did “In the Year 2525”? I could participate this week cos someone left a sponsored post until the last day of the month.
You’ve got some great toe tappers here. Love them all.
Have a fabulous day filled with wonderful music. ♥
And just like that…. the A to Z challenge is done! congrats on getting them all in! Walking the Dog is a fun one to listen to. Enjoy your week!

Wonderful song fest! Have a Zipa dee do da day!
Hi, I did make it to the finish line. 🙂 GO back to my blog when you can!
Congrats to you too! I saw email and responded. Great tunes as always.I love the Blues Brothers!
You definitely rocked the house Dolly!
Thank you for praying for me and my family.
And this earworm is the song of the day for me. There’s nothing going on but the rent.
Welcome Alana!
Have a blessed week Dolly!
Man, you have got it going on with your Z selections as well as your other tunes! My cats and dogs think I’m crazy dancing around over here. 😉 Thanks for getting me moving, Marie! Have a great remainder of your weekend! 🙂
