♦♥♥♦ANNOUNCING ♥♥OUR SPECIAL HONORARY CONDUCTOR for the month of  March.. Patrick Weseman CHEERS…! THANKS PATRICK, YOU’RE DUH BEST!  March 4th Music in Our Schools month- theme is how music educates us…

What is Music In Our Schools Month® (MIOSM)?  For more than 30 years, March has been officially designated by the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) for the observance of Music In Our Schools Month® (MIOSM), the time of year when music education becomes the focus of schools across the nation.  The purpose of MIOSM is to raise awareness of the importance of music education for all children – and to remind citizens that school is where all children should have access to music. MIOSM is an opportunity for music teachers to bring their music programs to the attention of the school and the community, and to display the benefits that school music brings to students of all ages.  MIOSM and the events surrounding it are the ideal opportunities for increasing awareness of the benefits of high quality music education programs in our nation’s schools. NAfME hopes that teachers, students, and music supporters alike will find ways to join in on the celebration through creative activities and advocacy. Learn more about how NAfME works to support music education.  High School musical – We’re all in this together!!!   Jack Stamp giving one of the best examples of exactly why music education is so important and belongs in our schools.  Up next might be a little boring in the beginning, but believe it’s got a killer ending!!!  India’s One Man Band: A Masterclass on Instruments | Gladson Peter | TEDxHRCollege Wasn’t so bad now was it. 1.

Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.

  2.

interesting choices. I liked the fellow playing multiple instruments and the kids reacting to Queen. I don’t like seeing vomit.

  3.

    Love your selections Doll.
Are you in the hospital or is Dave in the hospital? Are you all doing okay? What’s the matter?

  4.

Prayers for you! I hope this isn’t for something serious.

  5.

    Marie,

I think I notice that Michael wasn’t well on FB but I don’t stay on there enough to keep up. So, he’s still in the hospital? Poor fella! I’m saying prayers for him.

Your song picks are pAwesome. I really enjoyed the India one man band. These sorts of acts have always amazed me. That second dude from OH State University was pretty neat, but I didn’t like the drum beat he added to his arrangement. I’m totally surprised that these school kids knew who Queen was! Some of their reactions were furtastic.

Thanks for the boogie, my friend. Have a pAwesome week! 😉

  6.

My favorite here is the kids reaction to Queen! Priceless. Have a blessed week.

  7.

Thanks for letting me know about Mike. I’ve been wondering what happened to him.

That “Songs in Real Life” reminded me of “Batman & His Grandmother” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8OF0QA1ZaNk). There have been a few of those over the years…

  8.

How fun and my favorite was the one man band from India. I’ve not heard of him before.

Have a fabulous day filled with music, Marie. Love you bunches. ♥

  9.

These are all new to me. I’m sorry I didn’t get the “memo” about the change in themes. I have the new ones now. My best to Mike for a speedy recovery.

  10.

Sorry that Mike is in the hospital. Thanks for the information and for hosting. Nice choices, all new to me.

  11.

I’m really late getting here this week – is Mike still in the hospital? I will get a card ready for him and will wish him the best. Of these, the Kids Reacting to Queen was my favorite – it was priceless (and it helps that I love Queen). The second Tedx talk was nice towards the end, with the percussion.

  12.

Keeping you and Dave in my thoughts and prayers, Marie. Did you get my email? Great song choices!! Thanks for being such an awesome music leader! 😉
