Hey Marie,
How are you? I sent you so many messages here, but never heard from you. Good to see you join our #WW blog hop.
Hope things are good and safe at your end. Enjoy the weather but do stay indoors.
Sound of music is everyone’s favourite. 🙂
Happiness always
Hi Marie the XmasDolly,
I am doing quite well. I do have a headache.
Yeah – SOUND OF MUSIC is so much fun.
I imagine things like SIXTEEN GOING ON SEVENTEEN and THE LONELY GOATHERD and the goodnight song. Also Edelweiss which was the cause of a deep and meaningful between myself and my mother
Hi Marie hope all is well and you and yours are keeping safe, Spring is here and nowhere to go LOL let’s hope it comes to an end by the end of summer 😯
But more importantly I hope you haven’t done anything I would like balancing on the egde of my balcony arms out in a crucifix position and singing My Heart Will Go On 😯
Have a lockdowntastic week and don’t get too bored ….Stay Safe
Marie,
THE SOUND OF MUSIC is full of great memories and mewsic! You know I don’t think I’ve ever seen SINGING IN THE RAIN. I really need to check this out to see if it’s available on one of our streaming services. You might recall I used a song from SOUTH PACIFIC for my ‘D’ post, ‘There’s Nothing Like a Dame’. 🙂 Thanks for putting a smile on my face with these vintage film selections. Have a good day and stay well, my dear!
Woo hoo! We have more time to spend enjoying it.
It’s been a while since I saw Sparticus. I think I’ll watch that one today.
We’re doing fine here, Marie. Hope you are too. We are well and doing what we’re supposed to do.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Love you bunches. ♥
South Pacific and Singin in the Rain are just such classics. Thanks for sharing them. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you and your family are safe and healthy.
what a fun blog! Cheers and have a lovely, healthy and happy day!
We are doing well and hope you are too. We are on week 6 of shelter at home for safety, or is it week 5, I lose track!
“Since You Went Away” is one of my favorites, too. Shirley Temple turned out to be a gorgeous young woman, didn’t she? And of course, by his mere presence, Monty Woolley added so much to it. I love the scene with Agnes Moorhead being her usual nasty self (she was probably a very nice woman off-camera).
“I am Spartacus!” Fantastic movie…
“The hills are alive…” Great film and a forever classic. What a wonderful theme!
All is well Marie and hope the same is with you!
Have a musical and cheerful weekend 🙂
