We’d like to get more folks on the dance floor. Our party has dwindled & I’m sure that’s largely due to bloggers coming and going in Blogosphere, but I’m going to set this challenge to ALL my readers PLEASE bring a friend & tell a friend to come on over and join our party & let’s all have the greatest boogie party ever!  Have you asked anyone lately to attend the 4M party? We’d love to fill the dance floor to capacity! If you haven’t done so, then let me challenge you to hook at least one new person to come boogie with the crew. It’ll be a blast!  WOO HOO!!!

Great list! I even have one of yours on my list as well. All were new to me except Pink Floyd and R.E.M. – though for some reason the Pink Floyd song in the video is “Breathe”. Hope you have a great week!

Outstanding playlist this morning. Is it just me or did every rock band of the late 60’s have at least one song that was at least seven minutes long? The Moody Blues had entire albums of songs too long for air play. LeeAnn Rimes was a terribly under appreciated country artist. Like a lot of teen phenoms, she went through some difficult times and fell out of sight and out of mind. I love the simplicity of the Fly Me to The Moon arrangement. You picked some real winners today. Have a blessed week.

    Marie,

Leann Rimes “Can’t Fight the Moonlight” is one of my favorites. I discovered Grace VanderWaal’s “Moonlight” song last year and really liked it. She’s a very talented young girl and I hope she does well in the mewsic industry. Thanks for sharing the dance floor with me, darlin’. Stay safe, be well, and have a boogietastic week! 😉

    Great list

  5.

Aww…that two doggies are sooo cute, Mary, they’re going to walk in the Moonlight for sure Love all the songs about the Moon, we have a few on our list too, so we can dance all night long ♪♫♪ 😉 Pawkisses for a Happy Week ahead and thank you for the dance

Great selections! I toyed with using Angelina Jordan’s “Fly Me To The Moon,” but went with Kaye Ballard’s, because it was the original…

  7.

I’ve been mooned all day and it’s the best way to get mooned.

Love the funnies. Awww on those two pups.

Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week, Marie. Love you bunches. ♥

  8.

Great list and we both picked one of my favorite songs “R.E.M.’s Man on the Moon. Thanks for hosting.

  9.

Nice choices. I had forgotten about Leeann Rimes’ song.

  10.

I had three tunes and than the computer crashed and it took most of the day to get it working so I skipped this week.

  11.

What a talented girl Angelina Jordan is. Never heard her before 🙂

  12.

I was going to say- Leann was fine, Grace was very good (both these were new to me) and then I got to Angelina Jordan and WOW. 8 years old and her voice had definite hints of Amy Winehouse in it. Strangely I don’t remember her from the Champions competition – did I block the beginning of this year out? REM and Pink Floyd are old favorites. So many moon songs, am enjoying going through this week’s posts, and certainly enjoyed yours.

Thanks for the lovely comment!
